Mothers Beach, Kennebunk

I got up early to walk the beach and feel the morning air and the rush of the waves at sunrise. Fishermen were already there for the early “catch”. The house across from where we were staying was on a low cliff facing the beach.  I sketched it with acrylic paint pens and later turned the drawing into stationary cards as gifts for my host and classmates who were on this holiday with me…a memory caught in a visual format .  I especially liked the rose bushes that grow “ by the yard” in Maine.
