After teaching for years indoors, I now have the freedom to be outside year-round. There is time to look and observe the differences and changes of the seasons, times of day, and atmospheric conditions. All subjects are now fair game. Lots of freedom to be channeled — more time equals opportunity! I enjoy having no agenda and the adventure of travel and contemplating the next artistic study. Meeting with other artists and discussing painting, drawing, and sculpture are a luxury that is now mine.  The next goal is to upgrade to a larger studio which will accommodate larger format works.
